England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Former New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee Has appointed an expert advisor to England’s men’s cricket team. Southee, who is New Zealand’s highest wicket -taking bowler, will work with all England teams during domestic summer, which will end with a five -Test series against India.
Before the first international match of Southee England, who will be the only Test against Zimbabwe, will join the team. His advisory role will give him a chance to work with the team throughout the busy summer program, including a white ball match against the West Indies and a five -Test series against India, which will begin in Headingley, Leeds from June 20. Southee retired from international cricket in December 2024 and took 776 wickets in 107 Tests, 161 ODIs and 126 T20I matches in his career.
