Amitabh Bachchan's Insights on 'Ek Rishtaa: The Bond of Love'

In a recent discussion, Amitabh Bachchan shared his thoughts on working in 'Ek Rishtaa: The Bond of Love,' praising director Suneel Darshan for his detailed and organized approach. Bachchan noted that Darshan had a clear vision for the film, including the music and songs, well before production began. He emphasized that this meticulous planning is a hallmark of contemporary filmmakers, contrasting it with earlier directors who often kept their ideas in their heads.

Bachchan expressed mutual respect for Darshan, highlighting how the director's commitment to excellence ensured that the film was completed in a remarkably short timeframe. He appreciated Darshan's insistence on getting the best performance from the cast.

Reflecting on his long-standing collaboration with Raakhee, Bachchan reminisced about their journey together, starting from their first film 'Reshma Aur Shera' to their recent reunion in 'Ek Rishtaa.' He fondly recalled their experiences on set and the fun they had, noting that they have worked on 13 films together, including classics like 'Kabhi Kabhie' and 'Trishul.'

Bachchan also mentioned the unique dynamic of their relationship, recalling how Raakhee played his mother in 'Lawaaris' and 'Shakti,' yet they returned to their original roles as co-stars in 'Ek Rishtaa.' He remarked on the enduring camaraderie they share, which feels like a family reunion, and how their teams have remained close over the years.
