Mumbai Bollywood actor and BJP (BJP) leader Mithun Chakraborty has received notice from BMC. He is accused of constructing some construction on a plot in Arangal village of Malad area of Mumbai without permission. Regarding this, BMC has sent a show cause notice to them. However, there has been no response in this case of the actor so far.
According to municipal officials, after the notice received by Mithun Chakraborty, now it will now have to be explained why the construction should not be demolished. If he does not answer or cannot give accurate reason, then the BMC has clearly stated that he will destroy this illegal construction. Not only this, the BMC has also warned the actor of legal action.
Will BMC’s hammer go?
This is not just a case. The BMC has caught more than 100 illegal constructions in the Mud area. These include some bungalows which were made on the basis of wrong maps. Officials say that they are preparing to demolish all these illegal buildings by the end of May. This means that once again the BMC bulldozer can run on many illegal construction.
BMC has sent a notice to Mithun Chakraborty under Section 351 (1A) of the Mumbai Nagal Corporation Act. It is being told that the show cause notice was sent to him on May 10, in which the actor was asked to respond within 1 week. The actor has to tell why illegal construction should not be demolished.
Civil officials said that many illegal constructions were found during the investigation near Hira Devi temple in Arangal village. There were more than two mejenine floor buildings, a ground floor building and three temporary huts made of brick, wood, glass and AC sheet. All these were made without permission.
