NEET UG 2025 Answer Key: The wait for the NEET UG 2025 answer key might finally be nearing its end. While the National Testing Agency (NTA) has yet to confirm an official date, the provisional answer key is expected to be released sometime this week on the official website — neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET UG exam was conducted on May 4, and anxious candidates are now closely watching for updates.

When Is The NEET Answer Key Expected?

While NTA has maintained silence so far, a look at previous years offers some clues. In 2024, the provisional answer key was issued 24 days after the exam, while in 2023, it took 28 days. If NTA sticks to this timeline, the NEET UG 2025 answer key could be released in the third or fourth week of May.

Once released, candidates can log in using their application number and password to access the answer key. The portal will also allow students to challenge any discrepancies through an objection window.

This Year's Exam Was Tougher

This year’s NEET UG exam has been labelled as more difficult compared to previous editions. Several students and academic experts observed that the question paper followed a pre-COVID pattern, making it more time-consuming and concept-heavy.

Physics and Chemistry sections, in particular, were cited as especially challenging. Experts believe this could result in fewer top scorers this year. In total, around 22.7 lakh students registered for the exam, slightly lower than the 24 lakh who signed up last year.

  • Log in using your application number and password
  • View the answer key and download it
  • Take a printout for your records

After the answer key is released, candidates will get a window of time to raise objections against any responses they believe are incorrect. The final answer key and results will be published after reviewing these objections.
