Peter Andre has shared his thoughts on 's tremendous 13-stone weight loss journey, which she embarked upon after facing a pre-diabetes diagnosis and the loss of her mother Maria to Type 2 diabetes in 2020. Once weighing in at 28 stone, Alison has taken the challenging route to slimming down. In his column, Peter remarked: "Alison Hammond is looking amazing and she's spoken about not using weight-loss jabs. She obviously feels fantastic, and I don't think it's anyone else's business when it comes to the injections - we shouldn't force people into discussing it."

He went on to say, "I don't know why we think everyone must say what they did or didn't do. Alison is a good friend who has put the work in and done it the hard way, which is impressive. But I'd never judge anyone for taking the injections - it's none of my business." In 2019, Peter was the centre of concern from his fans after an Instagram video prompted comments that he seemed 'wasting away. ' One concerned follower asked, "He is getting thinner in the face, worrying signs that there could be something wrong with the body."

Peter quickly reassured his fans by clarifying the real reason behind his leaner look. He simply stated: "I run," with an assurance: "Feeling better than ever", reports The Mirror.

Alison took control of her well-being and dove into a fitness journey with a personal trainer, along with a more vigilant diet. Chatting with Heat Magazine, Alison shared: "I feel amazing. I feel happy within myself. I've got a personal trainer - she's amazing. She trains me when I can train. If I'm working, I don't train, I'll go for a walk."

Previously disclosing that weights, pilates, and yoga are part of her home exercise routine, Alison told Plymouth Live that she doesn't believe in extreme dieting, expressing: "I don't deny myself anything. I eat everything, but in moderation."

In an interview with Women's Health Magazine, Alison further delved into her transition away from foods high in fat and sugar, considering both her mother's worries and confronting her own pre-diabetes diagnosis: "My mum had type 2 diabetes and she was worried for me, so when I then found out that I was pre-diabetic, that was frightening. I thought: 'I have to be an adult about this'. The sweets had to stop - and the fatty foods."

With alterations to her eating habits and lifestyle, Alison has turned her health situation around, saying: "I'm no longer pre-diabetic, so I'm a bit naughtier with my food now. But because my body's working properly, I can allow myself a bit of sugar here and there.

"I love my new shape and although I still have areas I'm conscious of, such as my arms and tummy, it's great being able to wear things I would never have been able to before. I mean, look at me, I'm a bombshell."

Alison confessed she had reservations about considering weight loss medication due to "scare stories", yet she emphasised she "wouldn't look down on anyone who did".

Away from the cameras, Alison is romantically linked with 27 year old masseur David Putman, fuelling rumours that her transformation was spurred by a wish to walk down the aisle with her beau.

When quizzed about any nuptial plans, she teasingly indicated: "I'd never say no. I might marry myself!".
