is offering new customers £175 to switch current accounts, along with access to its high account. will be paid by the 20th of the month after all conditions are fulfilled, and customers must act fast, as the offer can be withdrawn at any time.

To qualify, you'll need to open a First Direct 1st Account and complete a full switch using the Current Account Switch Service within 45 days. This must include moving at least two direct debits or standing orders, depositing a minimum of £1,000, making at least five debit card transactions (online or in-store), and logging in to digital banking.

The switching process is straightforward. Once your account is open, log in to the First Direct app, tap 'switch to us' and follow the instructions. The bank said it will notify your old provider, transfer over your payments and even update your employer with your new details, all within seven working days.

It's important to note that this offer is limited to one reward per customer or joint account and is only available to new customers.

Those who've previously held a First Direct product or opened an HSBC current account since January 1, 2018, won't be eligible.

The account comes with several perks, such as fee-free spending abroad, a 7% interest regular savings account, as well as access to a £250 interest-free overdraft (subject to eligibility).

First Direct isn't the only provider offering an incentive to switch current accounts. This week, .

New customers switching to TSB's Spend and Save, or Spend and Save Plus current account, can receive £100 and up to £90 in in the first six months of opening. Customers also get the choice of two rewards, worth up to £120.

To receive the £100 switching bonus, customers must log into the TSB Mobile Banking app and make at least five payments using the debit card on their account before July 19, 2025. The £100 bonus will be paid between August 2 and August 16, 2025.

For the following six months, customers can earn triple cashback of £15 each month when they make at least 20 debit card payments in the calendar month. This means customers can earn a total of £90, and any cashback will be automatically paid in the next calendar month.

Following this, if customers make 20 debit card payments in December 2025 and meet the conditions for the £100 switching bonus, they can choose a treat in January 2026. The two options include a £120 voucher for a hotel of their choice or access to 12 months of activity tickets for hundreds of UK attractions.

is giving new switchers £150 to move their everyday banking to its Reward account. The account costs £2 a month, but customers can earn £5 cashback monthly by paying in at least £1,250, setting up two Direct Debits, and logging into the app, netting £36 a year after fees.

You'll also get access to a linked regular saver that pays 6.17% interest on deposits up to £5,000 and allows monthly deposits of up to £150.

To claim the £150 bonus, you must switch from a non-NatWest, RBS, or Ulster Bank account, deposit £1,250, and log into mobile banking within 60 days. The reward is paid within 30 days. You're not eligible if you've had a switch bonus from NatWest, RBS, or Ulster Bank before.

Finally, is offering new customers up to £175 to switch and stay for three months, along with access to a linked regular saver paying 7% interest on up to £250 a month.

To get the initial £100, you must switch from another bank within two weeks of opening your account (or switch into an existing Co-op account), complete the switch within eight weeks, and within 30 days deposit £1,000, set up two Direct Debits, register for online banking, and make 10 debit card transactions. The £100 is paid within seven days of meeting the criteria.

You can then earn an extra £25 per month for three months by continuing to deposit £1,000, make 10 card transactions, and maintain two Direct Debits each month.

The offer excludes those who have received bank switch cash from the Co-op Bank since November 1, 2022.
