Actor and dancer Avinash Dwivedi opened up about his marriage to Sambhavna Seth on Siddharth Kannan’s podcast, addressing their six-year age difference with refreshing honesty. “We have a 6–7 years’ age gap. It has never affected me. In fact, it’s been to my advantage,” he said confidently. “Our families didn’t have a problem, but they were concerned about what others would say. My family thought, ‘If he’s sure about the marriage, then it’s fine.’”
Avinash credits Sambhavna’s maturity and experience for positively influencing his life and career. “Because of this age gap and Sambhavna’s work experience, it has worked in my advantage. Things that I tend to neglect, she makes sure to correct. And that has helped me grow, personally and professionally.”

In an interview on Paras Chhabra’s podcast, Sambhavna recalled how their story began. “I was judging a reality show called Dance Sangram, where Avinash was a contestant. Shweta Tiwari and Saroj Khan were also on the panel, and Shweta and I were mentors.”
She added, “He later called me from Delhi saying he wanted to move to Mumbai and stay near me. I thought of all of them as students, as kids. But he was persistent about marrying me. I honestly thought he was joking. But Avinash has gone out of his way to shower love on me. Hadein paar kar dene wala pyaar kiya hai.”

Despite initial resistance from her family due to Avinash’s lack of financial stability at the time, Sambhavna stood by him. “We decided to get married anyway. I had earned enough for both of us to live decently. We didn’t know things would change so much after marriage.”
Today, the couple, who have been married since 2016, continues to prove that love knows no age — only commitment, trust, and growth.
