Famous South Indian actor Vishal is ready to start a new phase in life. The actor is going to marry actress Sai Dhanshika, who is famous for being the onscreen daughter of Rajinikanth in Kabali. Following days of rumors, the duo confirmed the news recently at a public function. They announced their wedding ceremony will be held on 29 August 2025, which coincidentally is also Vishal’s 48th birthday.

Vishal, born Vishal Krishna Reddy, is from Chennai. With a family background in films, his father GK Reddy is a well-known filmmaker and his brother Vikram Krishna is a producer and actor. Vishal started his career in cinema as a child artiste with the 1989 Tamil movie Jadikketha Moodi. But his breakthrough as a leading man was achieved in 2004 with Chellame, followed by successful movies like Sandakozhi, Thimiru, Thamirabarani, Irumbu Thirai, Thupparivalan 2, and the Malayalam movie Khalnayak.

Aside from acting, Vishal has also established himself as a producer with his banner Vishal Film Factory. For his contribution towards Tamil cinema, he was awarded the Kalaimamani award in 2006.

Vishal has also been interested in politics. He submitted his nomination as an independent candidate from RK Nagar constituency in a by-election after the death of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in 2017, though his nomination was later rejected.

As Vishal and Dhanshika are about to get married, fans and well-wishers from all across the industry are eagerly anticipating their day of days, which will be a grand affair infusing cinema, love, and tradition.
