Goa Weather: Due to heavy rain and unfavorable weather, IndiGo Airlines has advised travelers traveling to and from Goa to anticipate some delays and disruptions. Because local traffic may also be impacted, the airline recommended passengers to check the status of their flight before leaving for the airport and to factor in additional time for road travel.

“We advise customers to check the status of their flights before departing for the airport and allow additional time, as road travel may also be delayed due to the weather,” IndiGo said in a public announcement.

Goa Weather Prediction for the Next Five Days
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a travel alert due to the ongoing severe rainfall in Goa, with additional rain expected over the next five days.

The IMD predicts that most of North and South Goa will have moderate rain on May 21. Isolated locations may see very high rainfall, while a few areas may have very heavy rainfall. In some locations, thunderstorms with gusts of 40 to 50 kmph are also probable.

Rain is predicted to persist on May 22. Isolated pockets are expected to get very heavy rainfall, while the majority of places may experience moderate rains.

Moderate rain is predicted daily in various areas of Goa from May 23 to May 25. Isolated locations may get heavy rainfall, especially in low-lying and hilly places.

Residents and visitors have been cautioned by authorities to exercise caution and refrain from going outside during severe weather. Additionally, passengers are advised to check official weather reports and communicate with their carriers.
