Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2025 have reacted openly by head coach Stephen Fleming to the disappointing performance. He said that on the basis of the cricket played by the team, it was natural to stay at the bottom of the points table. However, he also assured that the team will make a strong comeback with a better strategy in the next session.

Chennai’s poor performance

After the six -wicket defeat against Rajasthan Royals, the position of being in the last place of Chennai is almost decided. This session was very poor for the five -time champion team. Fleming admitted that the team could not perform as expected. He said that we tried to play well, but the results did not come in our favor. Now there is only one match left and we have to accept that we were not better.

Strong strategy

Fleming described the failure of the top order as the main reason for the team’s decline. He said that our opening batsmen could not score runs, due to which pressure remained from the beginning. We have to work with a strong strategy for the next year.

Anshul Kamboj praises

He also praised fast bowler Anshul Kamboj, who has been elected in the team of India A England tour. Fleming said that Anshul’s speed is 138-139 km per hour and his length bowling has been very effective. He can also do well in seams and swing conditions. The coach assured that the team will work on its weaknesses and return in a new form in the next session.
