GATE COAP 2025: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru, which is hosting the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) 2025, has modified the counselling timetable yet again. According to the most recent revision, Round 2 of the COAP counselling procedure is going to take place from May 23 (10:00 AM) to May 25 (6:00 PM). The revision came just days after Round 1 ended on May 20.

Several changes have already been made to the counselling timetable. COAP 2025 was originally scheduled to start on May 13, but Round 1 was moved to May 14 and then May 17. According to IISc, these modifications were made to consider the academic calendars and offer analysing schedules of PSUs and participating institutes.

The revised Round 2 dates preserve institutional synchronisation while giving applicants enough time to consider their options. This type of centralised approach lessens candidate confusion and helps prevent deadline overlap.

GATE COAP 2025: Revised Schedule

The revised timetable is as follows:

1. Round 2: May 23 (10:00 AM) to May 25 (6:00 PM)

2. Round 3: May 29 to June 1

3. Round 4: June 5 to 7

4. Round 5: June 11 to 13

5. Round 6: June 17 to 19

6. Round 7: June 23 to 25

7. Round 8: June 29 to 30

8. Round 9: July 4 to 5

9. Round 10: July 9 to 10

Note: Additionally, Rounds 6–10 are listed as Decisive Rounds, which means that applicants will only be able to "Accept & Freeze" or "Reject" an offer. The option to "Retain & Wait," which enables participants to keep their present offer while waiting for a potentially better one in future rounds, will no longer be accessible.

What is COAP?

COAP is an organised platform that allows applicants with valid GATE results to obtain enrolment and job offers from participating in part of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), IISc, and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
