At the Sri Padmavathi Children’s Heart Centre in Tirupati, TTD EO J Syamala Rao has instructed authorities to investigate the potential for establishing a new trust for children’s healthcare and medical services. He convened a review meeting in the hospital conference room on Wednesday with hospital administration authorities.
The EO said at the meeting that Sri Padmavathi Children’s Heart Center already has the Sri Venkateswara Apanna Hrudaya Scheme, which allows a kid from a low-income family to have free heart surgery with a gift of Rs 1 lakh. He gave the authorities instructions to draft a report outlining the guidelines for creating a new trust that would provide pediatric medical services in a manner similar to those of TTD’s current trusts.
He emphasized that the hospital respects children as divine creatures and offers newborns receiving treatment first-rate medical care. In addition to treating children, the authorities were directed to set up the infrastructure, emergency medications, and medical equipment required to do more pediatric heart surgery.
Along with discussing the present state of the new building construction with engineering staff, the EO requested an update on the project’s development.
In order to get input on the medical care given, he later spoke with the parents and physicians of the babies in the OP block, general ward, and pediatric intensive care unit. Parents were pleased with the medical treatment they received at the hospital.
Hospital Director Dr. Srinath Reddy, RMO Dr. Bharat, SEs Venkateshwarlu and Manoharam, TTD JEO Veerabrahmam, CE Satyanarayana, and other officials were present at the meeting.
