Royal Enfield may soon launch a cheap and small engine motorcycle in the Indian market. According to media reports, the company is busy preparing a new motorcycle based on 250cc engine. This new bike will use the engine technology taken from the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Cfmoto.
According to the information, Royal Enfield is in the process of getting the license of engine technology from CFMOTO for its new 250cc platform. The purpose of this partnership is to launch a bike with more mileage and better efficiency for markets like India, which can also meet strict emission standards.
Reports claim that this new bike will form the basis for Royal Enfield’s first hybrid motorcycle. The company is taking this big step, keeping in mind the increasing demand and mileage of customers in the entry-pramination bike segment in India.
This new 250cc engine of CFMOTO will not only correspond to the BS6 Phase-2 standards but will also meet the future Cafe rules. This engine is being prepared by compact, fuel efficient and hybrid technology, which will allow mild-hybrid or full-hybrid options to replace expensive and low mileage engines.

Although the engine will be from Cfmoto, all the rest of the bike-such as suspension, chassis and body design-will be prepared by Royal Enfield. The company will launch the bike in a completely indigenous style, retaining its signature modern-classic style.
