Today, May 22, 2025, Vijayawada saw a spike in gold prices. 10 grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs. 89,750 with an increase of Rs. 450 according to current prices, while 10 grams of 24-carat gold costs Rs. 97,910 with a spike of Rs. 490.

In contrast, the price of silver is Rs. 112,000 per kilogram.

On the global market, the price of gold has been erratic. During the wedding season, gold prices have dropped during the last several weeks, averaging around Rs. 90,000 for 10 kilos of 24-carat gold and Rs. 100,000 for 10 grams of 22-carat gold.
