The UK's best-rated has been named and it's located in one of the top tourist counties in the country, a new study shows.

Cornwall Services has been crowned best-rated in the UK with the most five-star reviews of any branch. Google reviews data shows that the has received the highest percentage of five-star ratings. The research was conducted by , and looked at the percentage of both five-star and one-star reviews on Google for each McDonalds restaurant across the UK in order to find out which of those were the highest-rated and which were the lowest-rated.

Marc Porcar, CEO of QR Code Generator said:"According to a YouGov survey, McDonald's is in the top three most popular dining brands in the UK for 2025, beating out its competitors such as Burger King and KFC.

"Only Greggs is favoured more than the double arches among millennials, highlighting many young Brits' favour for affordable, on-the-go bites.

"However, just because each McDonald's restaurant bears the famous name, it may not mean all are equal in the eyes of customers, as our results suggest. Customer satisfaction appears to vary widely across the nation, with Cornwall Services taking top spot.

"For holidaymakers on their way to or from the south-west coast, it may be one to keep in mind for a pitstop, and an enjoyable meal for their travels."

Located in St Austell, Cornwall Services saw 52.42% of users leaving five-star reviews, compared to 6.18% of people leaving one-star reviews. The beach spot has a rating of 4.1 out of 5.

Omagh in Northern Ireland came second on the list, with 52.26% of reviews reaching five stars. Only 8.70% of users left one-star reviews at the fast-food outlet that has a rating of 4.1 also.

Coming next in the list, Coleraine in County Londonderry ranks as the third highest-rated McDonald's in the UK. It recorded 51.32% of reviews being five stars and holds a Google rating of 4.1. With only 7.58% of it's reviews equating to one-star.

Sprucefield in Lisburn is ranked at fourth, with 51.11% of reviews getting five-star approval. It also recorded 9.20% of reviews being one-star and holds a Google rating of four out of five.

Wincanton in Somerset makes fifth place, with 51.55% being five-star and 9.81% of reviews being one-star. It gets a rating of 4.1 on Google.

With Northern Ireland accounting for three out of five places in the top spot, it can be described as the the best spot for McDonalds in the UK.

On the other end of the scale, Chingford received the title of worst-rated McDonalds in the UK. It received more than a third of reviews at one-star at 36.49%. Only 24.07% of reviewers gave the outlet five stars and it's Google rating sits at 2.8.
