Since quitting royal life in 2020, has not hesitated to make a series of shocking revelations about his life as a prince. While the Duke of Sussex, 40, claimed earlier this month that his father , 76, as a result of the duke's now finished court case with the Home Office, it does not appear to be the first time there has been tension between the father and son.

In his bombshell memoir Spare, published in 2023, Harry once revealed a desperate plea he made to his father, which ended up being ignored. The prince, along with his brother Prince William, reportedly in 2005.

Speaking about his feelings in Spare, Harry claimed that he urged his father - who was Prince of Wales at the time - not to marry her.

Harry wrote in his memoir: "We support you, we said. We endorse Camilla, we said. Just please don't marry her. Just be together, Pa.

"Despite Willy and me urging him not to, Pa was going ahead. We pumped his hand, wished him well. No hard feelings. We recognized that he was finally going to be with the woman he loved, the woman he'd always loved, the woman Fate might've intended for him in the first place.

"Whatever bitterness or sorrow we felt over the closing of another loop in Mummy's story, we understood that it was beside the point."

The prince recalled that he did not want his father to remarry as he did not want Camilla to be compared to his mother the late Diana, Princess of Wales, who died eight years earlier in 1997.

While Harry and William were reportedly not fans of the marriage, they did both attend the ceremony and were all smiles on the big day.

Not long after the wedding, to the UK press, in which he addressed Camilla and Charles' relationship.

He said at the time: "She's a wonderful woman and she's made our father very, very happy, which is the most important thing. William and I love her to bits."
