Hyderabad: Dyson launched the world’s slimmest vacuum cleaner, the Dyson PencilVac, at its global launch in Japan. At 38mm in diameter, the PencilVac is a cordless vacuum cleaner, a light-weight device, with many new features including the first conical brush bar cleaner head designed for ejecting long hair & annoying tangles.

Central to the PencilVac’s performance is the Fluffycones cleaner head with four conical brush bars that spin in opposite directions allowing for forward and backward cleaning. The cones extend beyond the edge of the cleaner head, which gives not only edge to edge cleaning to create fully cleaned areas.

At its centre of the PencilVac is Dyson’s smallest and fastest vacuum motor – a compact 28mm Hyperdymium 140k which can spin at a thrilling 140,000 RPM to create 55 AW of powerful suction. The small yet powerful motor allows the PencilVac to clean in tight spaces and lay flat underneath furniture as low as 95mm.

The PencilVac also introduces a new, two-stage linear dust separation system that captures 99.99% of particles sized 0.3 microns, while simultaneously compressing dust in the bin to reduce how often users have to empty it. The hygienic syringe ejection system also prevents any contact with the dust bin for no-touch experience when emptying the bin.

For the first time, a Dyson vacuum will connect to the MyDyson app allowing users to monitor battery
