Ever since President Donald Trump has taken command of America, he has been making some changes. Now they have made another big change. The Trump administration has banned the admission of students from other countries at Harvard University, that is, there will be no admission of students from other foreign countries in this university.
This decision of the Homeland Security Department of the Trump government, which was taken on Thursday, will affect around 6,800 foreign students, who are studying in this Harvard University. Of these, India also have 788 students. During the Educational Year 2024-2025, Harvard University had Total 6,793 students from other countries, who are about 27 percent of the total students studying here.
According to reports, Harvard University will have to inform the existing foreign students within 72 hours to regain the yoga for giving admission to foreign students. Currently, all the foreign students studying in this university have been asked to take transfer to other universities and colleges and if they do not do so, they may have to leave America.
In fact, due to the US government and Harvard University for the last few days, there is a tension about the records to foreign students. The Homeland Security Department had given strict warning last month that if the university did not give a record of illegal and violent cases of foreign students till April 30, then their SEVP i.e. Student and Exchange Visitor Program Certification will be canceled. After this, the university gave a record of foreign students, but the Trump government did not appear satisfied with it.

The US Homeland Security Department manages the Student and Exchange Visitor Program. It gives the colleges permission to issue a visa document for foreign students, that is, the Homeland Security Department completely interferes in this case. If he canceles this program, it directly means that there will be no admission of foreign students in Harvard University and this will affect Harvard’s capacity to give admission to foreign students.
