Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Development Department Korba informed that the State Government has fixed the dates for online application, proposal, and approval for the scholarship for the year 2025-26. The last date for receiving online applications by the students for renewal has been fixed as 31 May, 31 August, and 30 November 2025 respectively. At the same time, the last date for receiving online applications for new applicants has been fixed as 31 August, 30 September, and 30 November 2025.

The Assistant Commissioner has also clarified that after the prescribed dates, the portal for online applications for post-matric scholarships for the academic session 2025-26 will be closed. After this, the opportunity to lock the draft proposal and section order will also not be given. If the proceedings are not completed by the prescribed date by any institution and due to this the students of that institution are deprived of scholarship, then the head of the institution will himself be responsible for this.

The scholarship will be paid through PFMS. Therefore, all the students will have to fill in the information of their active savings account and Aadhaar bank account number correctly while applying online. The students of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Classes must get OTR (Time Registration) from the NSP portal. For this, the instructions given in the State Scholarship Portal can be followed.

In the year 2025-26, biometric authentication of the head of the institution and the scholarship in charge of the institution of the new institutions is also required to be done. All eligible students and institution heads should complete the online application process keeping in mind the deadline so that no student is deprived of the scholarship.
