Pushkar Kumbh Mela 2025: Recently, a grand Maha Kumbh was organized in the Sangam city of Prayagraj, in which lakhs of devotees from the country and abroad were reaching every day to take a dip of faith. At the same time, Pushkar Kumbh has started now. Pushkar Kumbh Mela is held once every 12 years. Pushkar Kumbh Mela is held in Mana village of Uttarakhand, which is said to be the first village in India. This village is also called the gateway of Devbhoomi. Pushkar Kumbh is being organized from 16 May to 25 May 2025.

Where is the Pushkar Kumbh Mela 2025 held

Mana village, located near the Indo-Tibet border, is situated at an altitude of about 3200 meters above sea level. Situated only 3 kilometers from Badrinath Dham, this village is very important from a historical and religious point of view. It is believed that this is the site of the Mahabharata period, from where the Pandavas were taken to heaven. The village is also famous for several natural caves and religious sites, such as Vyas Cave, Ganesh Cave, Bhima Bridge, and the origin of the Saraswati River.

Importance of Pushkar Kumbh 2025

The Pushkar Kumbh is held in a twelve-year cycle and is held in Mana village, one of the five Pushkar Kshetras in the country. This Kumbh is not only an occasion for spiritual upliftment, but also a huge gathering of saints, yogis, and pilgrims seen here. How to travel to Mana

If you want to go to Pushkar Kumbh Mela, then the nearest railway station to Mana village is Rishikesh, which is 300 km away. By air, you can reach Dehradun Airport and travel 315 km by road from here. Bus or taxi service is available from Rishikesh to Badrinath, from there the distance to Mana village is just 3 km.
