Liquor Scam: Senior IAS Vinay Chaubey, arrested in the liquor scam case of more than Rs 38 crore in Jharkhand, suddenly fell ill on Thursday evening. Vinay Chaubey, lodged in Birsa Munda Jail in Hotwar, suddenly had a high blood pressure. After examination, he was admitted to RIMS for treatment. He was brought to the Central Emergency at around 5:30 pm, where he was examined and samples were taken.

After examination, Vinay Chaubey was admitted to the paying ward under the supervision of Dr. Rishi Tuhin Gudiya of the Medicine Department. Vinay Chaubey is suffering from high blood pressure and kidney problems. Earlier, the application filed by IAS Vinay Chaubey was heard in the court, after which the jail superintendent was directed to provide treatment.
3 other accused sent to judicial custody till June 3Meanwhile, Sudhir Kumar Das, Sudhir Kumar and Neeraj Kumar Singh, who were arrested on 21 May in the liquor scam case, were presented in the court yesterday on Thursday. After the hearing, the court sent all three to jail in judicial custody till 3 June. All three accused will remain in Birsa Munda Jail in Hotwar till 3 June. So far 5 people have been arrested in this case. First of all, senior IAS Vinay Chaubey and Gajendra Singh were arrested on 20 May.
