Overview of KCET Exam 2025

The KCET was conducted from April 15 to 17 across various locations in Karnataka, with over 200,000 candidates participating in the examination.

Eligibility Criteria for Horanadu and Gadinadu Candidates

Candidates from Horanadu and Gadinadu must achieve a minimum of 12 out of 50 marks in the Kannada Language Examination administered by KEA to qualify for rank assignment and seat allotment in CET-2025.

Understanding KCET Rank Calculation

The KCET rank is determined by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the KCET exam and the Class 12 (2nd PUC) PCM subjects, each contributing 50%. After the results are published, candidates can log in using their application number and password to check their results. The scorecard will display individual subject marks, the total score, and the assigned rank.

KCET Counselling Process

The KEA will publish a list of top scorers along with category-wise cut-off ranks. The counselling process is set to commence in June 2025, allowing qualified candidates to participate in seat allotment for prestigious colleges throughout Karnataka.
