Over the past ten years, I've interviewed him at music festivals, fashion parties, and brand launches, and there's one thing I can say with absolute certainty: Brooklyn Beckham is not arrogant, nor entitled in the way many assume. He's kind, softly spoken, and surprisingly shy. He holds eye contact, says thank you, and still has the polite awkwardness of someone who knows people are judging him long before he's opened his mouth.

And maybe that's the problem. Born to two of the most famous people in the world - England's footballing icon David Beckham and global pop phenomenon Victoria Adams - Brooklyn entered the world with flashbulbs in his face and a front-row seat to stardom. He was never going to have a normal life, but what we've witnessed is a young man struggling to find any life at all that he can call his own - much like Harry.

Photography? Abandoned. Cooking? Derailed by TikTok ridicule. Modelling? Forgotten faster than his next hairstyle. Brooklyn has attempted more careers in his twenties than most people do in a lifetime, and none of them have stuck. He was even signed to Arsenal as a youth but decided a career as a professional wasn't for him. He's been gifted every opportunity, but the pattern is clear, the boy doesn't finish what he starts. Because of his parents' enormously hard-earned wealth, Brooklyn has become the epitome of a nepo-baby. He has been presented with numerous opportunities but hasn't had to follow through with them because his livelihood didn't depend on them. He was always taken care of.

The quiet feud between his wife Nicola Peltz and the Beckham clan isn't news anymore, but its ripple effects continue. What began as whispered tension over wedding plans has now settled into an icy, public silence. You won't see Victoria tagging Nicola in Instagram posts. David avoids referencing his eldest son's married life.

And where is Brooklyn? Caught in the middle while trying to please and protect his wife. Sounds a lot like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle doesn't it?

Brooklyn is not a naturally combative person, he's a peacekeeper. But his decision to align so fiercely with Nicola has cost him more than Instagram likes. Much like Harry, it's cost him a place in the family empire. The boy who once fronted family fashion campaigns, who used to be his mum's plus-one at every major event, is now conspicuously absent from the firm.

And yet, in that chaos, maybe, just like our Harry, he's finally found his calling. Because if there's one role Brooklyn Beckham, and the Duke of Sussex, seem utterly committed to, it's being a devoted loyal husband.

This is not just some celebrity romance for the cameras. Brooklyn has rebranded himself as "Nicola's protector", even if it means sacrificing his relationship with the most famous family in Britain. He cooks for her, speaks up for her, and plants roots in her world, not his. Just like Harry, he's said goodbye to Blighty and set up shop in America with fleeting visits home every so often.

Yes, it might be naïve. Yes, he might be overcompensating, but for the first time in his young life, Brooklyn has picked something and stuck with it.

Say what you want about his failed photography book, his confused cooking ventures, or his meandering modelling career, but give him this - when it comes to love, he's all in.

And maybe the thing Brooklyn Beckham needed all along wasn't a job or a hobby, it was a purpose. He's not the photographer, the chef, or the influencer. He's the husband. The supporter. The steady port in the storm.

For a boy who never quite found his place in the spotlight, perhaps standing just behind Nicola, holding her hand, is exactly where he was meant to be, just like Harry.
