Mumbai, May 24 – In response to recent security concerns, Mumbai Police has implemented a new visitor protocol for entry into Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. The move follows a string of threats and security breachesincluding an incident where a man and a woman reportedly forced their way into the actor’s home.
Police officials confirmed on Saturday that the visitors, identified as Jitendra singh and isha chhabariaare currently in judicial custody and are being interrogated thoroughly. This breach, coupled with ongoing threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi ganghas prompted authorities to upgrade Salman Khan’s security to Y+ level and bolster the police presence around Galaxy Apartments.
Under the new protocol, all visitors to Galaxy Apartments must have their identity verified by a resident before being allowed inside the premises. Only after proper confirmation will entry be permitted. The new rules have been communicated to both the residential society management and on-duty police personnel stationed at the site.
According to police sources, this enhanced protocol aims to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure Salman Khan’s safety amid credible security threats.
The move is the latest in a series of precautions taken to protect the actor, who has been under increased threat perception over the past few years.
Salman Khan has been on the radar of criminal elements for some time, particularly the Lawrence Bishnoi Gangwhich has issued multiple threats to the actor in recent years. This latest incident of forced entry has heightened security concerns and led to swift law enforcement action.
Residents and visitors are urged to comply with the new verification norms to maintain safety and order within the premises.
