Mukul Dev's Untimely Departure Shocks Film Industry

Mumbai: The Indian film community is mourning the unexpected loss of actor Mukul Dev, who passed away at the age of 54.


NTR, the star of RRR, expressed his sorrow in a heartfelt message, stating, "I am saddened by the news of Mukul Dev garu's passing. I cherish our moments in Adhurs and his dedication to acting. My thoughts are with his family. Om Shanti."



Sushmita Sen, who starred alongside Mukul in Dastak, shared her memories, saying, "Rest in peace, you wonderful soul."



Suniel Shetty conveyed his shock, stating, "I am absolutely heartbroken. He left us too soon. I pray for strength during this challenging time."



Kangana Ranaut expressed her sorrow, writing, "Terribly sad, RIP Mukul Ji."



Neil Nitin Mukesh shared his sadness, stating, "I am truly upset by the news of Mukul leaving us so soon. He was a remarkable performer and a wonderful person. My heartfelt condolences to @RahulDevRising, @mugdhagodse267, and the entire family. May God grant you strength during this difficult time. Om Shanti."



Filmmaker Hansal Mehta expressed his grief, saying, "My handsome friend Mukul. Gone too soon. Words fail to capture the sorrow I feel at the loss of such an unrealized talent, an underrated actor, and a dear friend. This is a profound personal loss."



Vindu Dara Singh, the winner of 'Bigg Boss 3' and co-star in Son Of Sardaar, shared, "Rest in peace my brother #MukulDev! The moments spent with you will always be cherished, and #SonOfSardaar2 will be your swansong, bringing joy and laughter to viewers!"



Kunal Kohli, a filmmaker, reminisced, "#MukulDev gone too soon. Here are some pictures from a holiday in Dalhousie we took before we both entered the film industry. I must have been in college. Mukul and my cousin Mohnish were in the 11th or 12th grade at St. Columbus, Delhi. #memories."



Mukul Dev passed away on Friday night at the age of 54, with the cause of death still unconfirmed.


His last rites are scheduled to take place at 5 PM at Dayanand Mukti Dham in Nizamuddin West, Delhi.
