Post the massive success of Animal, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is back with a new project starring Prabhas in Spirit. Since Deepika Padukone has been reportedly dropped due to ‘unprofessional demands’. She has been now replaced by Triptii Dimri.

Triptii Dimri comes on board

On Saturday, Sandeep Reddy Vanga posted on X, “The female lead for my film is now official :-).” Triptii also shared the post on Instagram, writing, “Still sinking in…. 😍 So grateful to be trusted with this journey 🙏🏻 Thank you @sandeepreddy.vanga ..honoured to be a part of your vision.”

A fan wrote, “Welcome to RebelWood.” Another added, “This is huge.” A third stated, “Deepika out, Triptii in!!! Vanga trusts her too much.” A comment read, “I’m screaming.”

Spirit marks the maiden collaboration of Prabhas and Triptii Dimri, and her second successive work with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, producer Bhushan Kumar, and Pranay Reddy Vanga, after Animal. Porduced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, Spirit will feature the story of a rebel police officer who battles against the odds.
