A Memorable Pilgrimage

Renowned Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his spouse Anushka Sharma recently traveled to Ayodhya, where they participated in prayers at the Ram Mandir and Hanuman Garhi, accompanied by their family. Images and videos capturing their spiritual journey have gained significant traction on social media.

While in Ayodhya, the couple had the opportunity to meet Sanjay Dutt, the successor of Mahant Gyan Das at Hanuman Garhi, who also holds the position of national president of the Sankat Mochan Sena. Senior priest Hemant Das played a crucial role in their visit, assisting them throughout the darshan and religious rituals.

This visit followed the RCB vs SRH match in Lucknow on May 23, where Anushka was seen cheering for her husband from the audience. Just weeks prior, after Virat announced his retirement from Test cricket following an illustrious 14-year career, the couple visited Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan, showcasing their commitment to spiritual pursuits.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, are proud parents to two children: daughter Vamika and their newborn son, Akaay. Their recent public and religious engagements have once again highlighted their strong family values and close bond.
