New Delhi, May 25 – Japanese auto giant Toyota is gearing up to launch its first all-electric vehicle for the Indian marketas EV adoption continues to accelerate across the country. The car in question is the much-anticipated Toyota Urban Cruiser BEVwhich made its global debut in Brussels and was showcased earlier this year at the India Mobility Global Expo.

According to industry insiders, the Urban Cruiser BEV is likely to be launched in India by the end of 2025targeting the premium electric SUV segment with a blend of strong range, feature-rich design, and Toyota’s trusted engineering.

Over 500 km Range on a Single Charge

One of the biggest highlights of the Urban Cruiser BEV is its claimed driving range of over 500 kilometers per charge. Toyota is reportedly planning to offer the EV in two battery pack options – a 49 kWh and a 61 kWh variant – aimed at catering to a wide range of customer needs.
