ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Private Limited (AM/NS India) has built a BC Boys Hostel Building at Islampeta, Visakhapatnam, as a component of their CSR program. Collector MN Harendhira Prasad, who opened the facility here on Sunday, praised AM/NS India for taking the effort to connect with the children.
M. Ravindranath, executive director of AM/NS India Pvt. Ltd., DS Varma, head of HR and administration, and K. Sridevi, district BC welfare officer, were present at the hostel building’s opening. About 200 kids may be housed in the Rs 97 lakh structure that was built.

Work on the 25-KW at Indira Gandhi Zoological Park and Mental Care, which was started as part of the CSR activities, is about to begin.
Over the last two years, AM/NS has funded and built 300 KW of solar electricity at a number of government hospitals, senior living facilities, institutions, etc. Additionally, 32 motorbikes and a towing vehicle were
awarded to the City Commissioner of Police for Visakhapatnam’s efficient traffic control last year.
