Innocent dies due to suffocation
Actually Karan Singh Lodhi and his family loved their one-and-a-half-year-old son Ayush very much. The family gave him jelly to eat to make him happy. As soon as Ayush ate the jelly, he suddenly started crying and started trying to breathe loudly. The family members did not understand what was happening, but when the child's condition started deteriorating rapidly, they rushed him to the district hospital. As soon as he reached the hospital, the doctors declared Ayush dead. Investigation revealed that the jelly was stuck in the child's throat and due to that, he had trouble breathing. The innocent died due to suffocation.
The ability to swallow food is not developed
Civil surgeon Praveer Gupta says that the ability to swallow food is not fully developed in small children. Giving round, sticky, hard or slippery things to children under 3 years of age can be dangerous. These things can get stuck in the throat and cause suffocation.
