On Sunday, a bomb threat email led to a significant security scare at the Himachal Pradesh Secretariat. However, officials reported that no suspicious items were found during the search.

Following the bomb threat notification, bomb disposal units and canine squads were deployed to the state secretariat, where they conducted a thorough examination of the premises. Although the threat was ultimately deemed false, security measures at the secretariat have been heightened as a precaution.

Authorities are currently working to trace the origin of the email. This incident marks the second time that a bomb threat has been reported via email at the secretariat, with a similar scare occurring in April.
