Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment has been making headlines ever since it aired its first season. Owing to the participation of popular celebrities and its unique concept, the show has kept viewers entertained. But it is not always as easy and fun for the participant as it may look. Recently, Reem Shaikh sustained a leg injury on the sets. This is not the first time Reem was injured during laughter chefs shoot. Last year, Reem suffered facial burns while cooking on the show.
Reem Shaikh shared a mirror selfie with her leg wrapped in a bandage on her Instagram Stories. In the caption, she wrote, “Just normal things after shooting for Laughter Chef,” implying that the injury occurred while shooting.
Earlier, she suffered facial burns during the first season of Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment after accidentally splashing hot oil on her face while cooking. Reem had shared glimpses of her journey on social media, thanking followers for their support and stating that the experience had strengthened her determination.
Reem had opened up about the situation during a round table conversation last year. Reem Shaikh went on to reveal, “My parents were against it. They said, ‘Producers ne dekh liya, dobara kabhi kaam pe nahi bulayenge’ (If producers see it, they won’t call you work).” The actress went on to narrate the incident which left her with a burnt face. She shared, “I was making chashni, and I think it was overheated. It just splashed, and the right side of my face was burnt.”
On the work front, Reem Shaikh had been part of Laughter Chefs season 1 alongside Jannat Zubair. She joined the second season midway and has been teamed up with Aly Goni. Laughter Chefs depicts television celebrities moving outside of their comfort zones and into the kitchen, frequently with amusing outcomes. Comedian Bharti Singh hosts the show, while chef Harpal Singh Sokhi judges the culinary talents. The show also features Krushna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah, Sudesh Lehri, Nia Sharma, Rahul Vaidya, Rubina Dilaik, Karan Kundrra, Elvish Yadav, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain.
