Maharashtra School Education Department Announces FYJC Admissions

The online admission process for the First Year Junior College (FYJC) 2025 has been officially restarted by the Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department. Students who have successfully completed their Class 10 exams can register and apply via the official portal until June 3.


According to a report from a prominent news media outlet, this year's FYJC admission initiative will provide a total of 20.88 lakh seats across 9,337 junior colleges in the Arts, Commerce, and Science streams. This includes 18,74,935 seats allocated through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) and an additional 2,13,355 seats reserved for various quotas.


The final merit list is scheduled to be published on June 8, 2025.
