Meerut: Minister of Animal Husbandry of Uttar Pradesh, Dharmpal Singh, who is on a two-day visit to Meerut, chaired a tea meeting on Monday. The tea meeting was attended by the assembly Speaker and MLAs. Discussion over several important issues took place in the meeting. After the meeting, during a media interaction, the minister made a unique statement, "Gold will be made from garbage." 

Singh said, "A machine to make gold from garbage, will soon be built in Meerut." The minister said that this would be an important step towards sustainable development, which would allow proper disposal of garbage and creation of new energy and resources.

The minister's statement has grabbed attention and is going viral on social media.

He further said, "Under waste management, this machine will work to make gold from garbage , which will help in keeping the city clean and will also prove to be economically beneficial.
