Mangaluru: In view of heavy rainfall and the red alert issued by the weather department, the Dakshina Kannada district administration has declared holidays for all educational institutions in the district on May 27 and 28.

The order applies to all Anganwadi centres, primary and high schools, CBSE institutions, pre-university colleges, and government, aided, and private educational institutions.

The district administration has advised the public to stay alert and take necessary precautions during this period.
