New Delhi: Leela Hotels IPO, a book built issue of Rs 3500 crore, opened for public subscription on May 26, 2025 and will close on 28th May. Schloss Bangalore Ltd, which operates Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts, collected Rs 1,575 crore from anchor investors.

Domestic institutional investors, including Nippon India MF, Mirae MF, Invesco MF, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Company, HDFC Mutual Fund (MF), and ICICI Prudential MF, invested in Leela Hotels IPO. International fund houses like TT International, Ward Ferry, Norges Bank, Whiteoak, Lunate, Think Invest, Fidelity, and UC Regents also took part in the anchor round.

A total of 36,206,896 equity shares were allocated to 47 fund houses, both domestic and global investors, at Rs 435 apiece, for Rs 1,575 crore. Leela Hotels IPO price band is set in the range of Rs 413-435 per share.

Leela Hotels IPO is a combination of fresh issue of 5.75 crore shares aggregating to Rs 2,500 crore and offer for sale of 2.30 crore shares aggregating to Rs 1,000.00 crore.

Leela Hotels IPO Subscription status, GMP

As per the information available at around noon on May 26, 2025, Leela Hotels IPO was subscribed 0.02 times, out of which 0.10 times in the retail category, 0 times in QIB, and 0.01 times in the NII category.

Investorgain reported that Leela Hotels IPO GMP stood at Rs 15 on May 26 morning. With the price band of Rs 435, Leela Hotels shares are expected to list at Rs 450 per equity share, indicating a listing gain of 3.45 percent. It may be noted that grey market price are not official figures.

Leela Hotels IPO allotment is expected to take place on May 29, 2025, while the initiation of refunds process would begin on May 30. The shares are likely to be credited to the demat accounts of eligible shareholders on 30th May. The stock will list on BSE and NSE with a tentative date on June 2, 2025.

In its papers filed with SEBI, Schloss Bangalore, disclosed it has planned to use the proceeds of fresh issue to pay loans availed by the company and its subsidiaries and for general corporate purposes. The company had total borrowings of over Rs 3,900 crore as of March 2025.
