New Delhi: Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit starrer Khal nayakone of the classic cults of Bollywood, is getting a sequel. Well, the lines ” Nayak nahi, khal nayak hu main’ is already playing in our heads as soon as the sequel was confirmed. Director Subhash Ghai said that the script is already finalised and now, the team is in the process of finalising the cast and crew.

The movie, also starring Jackie Shroff, revolves around a notorious gangster, who escapes from prison and Inspector Ram is determined to capture him. On the other hand, an undercover agent Ganga sets out to find him. The film was a classic as the portrayal was Ballu was intense and layered, humanising the anti-hero.

Khal Nayak sequel confirmed

Director Subhash Ghai confirmed to the Times of India, “Yes, the script is complete now and the rest of the cast and technicians will soon be finalised.” The sequel is expected to feature a fresh cast while the original star cast, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit, are expected to make a special appearance to add a pinch of nostalgia.
