On Monday, May 26, Gautam Gambhir reached Maa Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati. This temple is dedicated to the goddess of Shakti and is considered one of the 52 Shaktipeeths. The temple is located in the hills of Nilanchal and is about 10 km from the capital of Assam, Dispur.
Gambhir also came to visit this temple soon after becoming the head coach of the Indian team.
