All rumors have been put to rest, and Bigg Boss OTT 4 is prepared to return! Salman Khan will once again host the program, according to new updates, days after rumors suggested that this year’s digital season may be canceled.

The highly awaited season will debut in August 2025 and be available only on JioHotstar, according to a post made by Bigg Boss Tak on X. Fans are already excited to see more drama, mayhem, and entertainment in the Bigg Boss house, even though the creators have not yet made an official announcement.

The first week of August 2025 is the definite premiere date for Bigg Boss OTT 4, according to Bigg Boss Tak’s statement on X (previously Twitter). It said, “VERIFIED! JioHotstar’s Bigg Boss OTT 4 will be available shortly! Salman Khan served as the host. It is anticipated to begin during the first week of August.

Social media has recently been buzzing with rumors about Colors TV’s renowned reality program Bigg Boss. The creators were undecided between Bigg Boss 19 and Bigg Boss OTT 4, a source previously informed SCREEN. Internal discussions were being conducted to determine whether to stick with the traditional OTT model, followed by the TV version, or go with a single, lengthy season. “What is certain is that the show will take place with the Viacom group, primarily on Jio Hotstar, but further details are still pending,” the insider said.

“As of right now, it’s unclear which will air first—the TV version or the OTT version—and it might just proceed in the same manner as before,” the insider said.

Salman Khan is reportedly returning to host the show’s over-the-top version. By the end of June, the actor is anticipated to start shooting the commercial for the next season. In a different update, the creators are thinking of a structure that would only include celebrities and exclude social media influencers. The casting, however, has not yet been revealed.

Speaking about the past seasons, Karanveer Mehra won the Bigg Boss 18 title. The actor was vying for the prize with Rajat Dalal and Vivian Dsena. Rajat came in second, followed by Avinash Mishra and Chum Darang, while Vivian took first runner-up. Sana Makbul won the award in Bigg Boss OTT 3 on the digital front.
