Students Who Pass Class 8 With Good Marks Can Receive Scholarships Up to ₹35,000 Per Year — Here's How

The Rajasthan Board Class 8 results are about to be released soon. Along with the result, students from eligible families may also receive a cash benefit of up to ₹13,000 directly in their bank accounts.

The Nirman Shramik Shiksha Kaushal Vikas Yojana (NSKKVY) is a special scholarship scheme run by the Rajasthan government to support the education of children of registered construction workers. From Class 6 to Postgraduation, students can receive annual scholarships, and in some cases, cash rewards up to ₹1 lakh for top academic performance.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicant must be a registered construction worker in Rajasthan.

  • Scholarships are available for worker’s children or spouse.

  • Maximum 2 children can avail scholarship benefits.

  • No limit for cash reward eligibility, even beyond 2 children.

  • Workers must maintain continuous contribution for at least 1 year.

  • Spouse should be under 35 years of age and enrolled in regular education.

  • Student must be studying in a recognized institution (Govt. or Pvt.).

  • Applicant must have cleared their annual exams to qualify for funding.

Academic Performance Requirements
  • 75% marks required for cash rewards from Class 8–12.

  • 60% marks required for rewards in Diploma, UG, PG levels.

Application Process for NSKKVY Step 1: Register on the SSO Rajasthan Portal
  • Visit the official SSO Rajasthan website.

  • Choose Jan Aadhaar or Google for registration.

  • Enter details, verify OTP, and create your SSO ID.

Step 2: Apply for the Scheme
  • Log in to the portal and go to the LDMS section.

  • Select Labour Department Schemes and choose NSKKVY.

  • Fill in the online application form and upload documents.

  • Review all entries and click Submit.
