UAE’s Big Step: All citizens will get free Chatgpt Plus, become the world’s first country

News India Live, Digital Desk: Uae’s big step: In a large step, the United Arab Emirates has become the first country to give free GGPT Plus to all 11 million citizens and inhabitants in a large step that can change the way AI of its people. The announcement was made as part of a broader partnership between the UAE and OpenAI, which was made under the recently launched “Stargate UAE” program.

The premium version of the chat GGPT, which is usually priced at $ 20 per month (about ₹ 1,740), will now be available free of cost in the UAE. This means that every resident of the country will get fast response without paying anything, GPT-4 facilities and other chat GPT Plus benefits.

Stargate UAE And big bets on AI

This rollout is associated with Stargate UAE, which OpenAI Frontier-Skele describes as its first international deployment of AI Infrastructure. The project is part of the “OpenAI for Country”, a global initiative that aims to help governments to create national AI capacity. UAE is the first country to sign it.

The Stargate UAE project is being built in Abu Dhabi and has the support of several major technical partners including G42, Oracle, NVIDIA, CISCO and SoftBankk. It will eventually include a gigawat supercomputeing cluster, with 200 MW in 2026. Openai said that this feature can meet computing requirements within a radius of 2,000 miles, which could potentially reach half of the world’s population.

OpenAI confirmed that this is the first time a government has enabled a complete, nationwide access to its services. The company said it had worked with the US government on the agreement.

Not only access, but also the effect

The deal also includes the investment of UAE in OpenAI’s US-based Stargate Infrastructure. It is associated with a major investment plan of $ 1.4 trillion declared by the UAE earlier this year, which aims to support American technology and employment growth.

According to OpenAI, this partnership will help the UAE use its AI devices in areas such as healthcare, energy, education and transport. It is also planning to use chat GPT to support public services and civil participation.

OpenAI chief strategy officer Jason Quon is expected to visit the Asia Pacific region next week to search the possibility of a similar partnership with other governments. The company said that its long-term target is to develop 10 such country-level AI cooperation under its “OpenAI for Country” strategy.

This move of the UAE can now set a global example, showing how access to AI equipment at the national level can shape people’s way of learning, working and interacting with technology on daily basis.
