11th Class Admission In Delhi Govt School: The Directorate of Education, Delhi, is scheduled to begin the application process for Class 11 admissions under Non-Plan Admissions for the academic session 2025-26 in government schools today, 27, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can check the Delhi Class 11 Admission 2025 notification and apply online at edudel.nic.in.

Delhi Class 11 Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Applicants applying for admission to Class XI for the 2025 academic year should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

1. Ineligible Candidates

Those students who passed Class 10th in 2024–25 from Government or Government-Aided schools run by the Directorate of Education are not eligible for online fresh registration.

Such students need to reach their previous school directly for the purpose of further support—especially in cases where the transfer of a school to another government organization is necessary.

2. NIOS Students

Candidates who appeared for Class 10th through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) are eligible on the following conditions:

Humanities without Skill Subjects: Should have 55% or above in the aggregate of five major subjects.

Humanities with Skill Subjects: Should have 50% or above in the aggregate of five major subjects.

3. Students from Other Boards (with Pass Criteria Below 33%)

Students who have passed Class 10th from boards with a pass percentage of less than 33% might be having a problem in submitting the application online.

In these situations:

They can apply for admission manually at any local government school.

Last date for manual application is August 21, 2025.

The case will be examined by the Head of School (HoS) and referred, together with supporting documents, to the Deputy Director of Education (DDE) of the zone for school allotment.

4. General Eligibility for Stream Selection

Only candidates who have been declared pass in the Class 10th will be eligible for admission to Class 11.

Admission in the given streams (Science, Commerce, Humanities, etc.) will be made in accordance with established eligibility norms, such as subject-wise marks and aggregate marks.

English: Minimum 50%

Standard Mathematics / Mathematics: Minimum 50%

Minimum aggregate required: 55%

Subject-wise requirements:

English: Minimum 50%

Standard Mathematics / Mathematics: Minimum 40%

OR

Basic Mathematics: Minimum 45%

Science: Minimum 50%

- Commerce Stream (with Mathematics)

Minimum aggregate required: 50%

Subject-wise requirements:

English: Minimum 45%

Standard Mathematics / Mathematics: Minimum 50%

Social Science: Minimum 45%

- Commerce Stream (without Mathematics)

Minimum aggregate required: 50%

Subject-wise requirements:

English: Minimum 45%

OR

Hindi: Minimum 45%

Social Science: Minimum 45%

- Humanities Stream

Eligibility: Must be declared "Pass" in the Secondary School Examination by CBSE or an equivalent board.

For opting Economics: Minimum 45% aggregate marks required.

For opting Mathematics: Minimum 50% in Standard Mathematics / Mathematics required.
