has shared a baffling seven-word piece of advice she was given when still living in the UK. Speaking on the eighth and final episode of her Confessions of A Female Founder podcast on Tuesday, the Duchess of Sussex spoke about the importance of self-care, especially for mothers.
She told her podcast guest SPANX's founder, Sara Blakely, that she was given a crucial piece of advice from her acupuncturist while living in the UK. Meghan, 43, said: "I remember my acupuncturist in the UK said to me, and it has always stayed with me, he said, if the baby's crying, treat the mother.
"It all starts with us. Good Lord, we have to take care of ourselves first."

When talking about her morning routine, the Duchess said that she tries to do the school run however if she has meetings, the children's nanny does this instead.
She said: "And then on other days I'll wake up and get them (Archie and Lilibet) all set and then our amazing nanny who's been with us for five years, she'll take them to school for us and then, yeah, we always try to..."
The couple also had a nanny in the UK when they were senior working royals - a role they left behind in 2020 when they moved to America.
