During Match 70 of IPL 2025 between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, RCB completed a record run chase, and Jitesh Sharma was the hero. Having taken his team to the winning side with a match-winning innings, Jitesh celebrated by removing his helmet and hurling it onto the ground just in front of Avesh Khan. The action wasn't unprovoked. It was a daring response to Avesh Khan, who had pulled off a similar helmet celebration earlier in the 2023 season when LSG had beaten RCB. Jitesh had the last word this time.
