Weather Updates: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for heavy rains, thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds in different parts of the country till June 2. This effect will be seen in many states of South India, West Coast, Northeast India, Eastern and Central India as well as many states of North India. In some areas, there is a possibility of stormy winds with excessive rainfall and thunderstorms, while there is also a risk of heatstroke in other places.

There is a continuous ups and downs in the weather of Delhi, due to which people are unable to understand why this is happening in May. The Meteorological Department said on Wednesday that the weather in Delhi is likely to be normal, and there is no hope of arrival of monsoon. According to the department, on Wednesday, partially cloudy will be cloudy, and thunderstorms may also occur in some places. The maximum temperature is estimated to be between 39 degrees and the minimum of 27 degrees, while on May 29, partial clouds will remain.
In Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan, rain, lightning and strong winds up to 70 km/h are estimated from May 28 to June 2. Himachal Pradesh is expected to have hailstorm on 27 and 28 May. In Uttarakhand, a warning of heavy rain has been issued during the same period. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heat stroke on May 28 in some areas of Rajasthan and Jammu.

In Kerala, Mahe and coastal Karnataka, there is a possibility of excessive rainfall with strong winds of 40-50 km per hour with thunderstorms from 28 May to 2 June. During the same period, there has been a possibility of heavy to heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. In Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Telangana, there is a possibility of bombers, thunderstorms and strong winds up to 50-70 km/h for the next five days. In particular, a warning of very heavy rainfall has been issued on 28-29 May in Telangana. Stormy winds in Gujarat can reach 70 km/h. There is a possibility of extreme heavy rainfall in Konkan and Ghat areas.
Constant rainfall in Northeast India
In the next seven days, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning in the northeastern states with light to moderate rains. A warning of extremely heavy rainfall has been issued for Mizoram on May 28 and Assam and Meghalaya on 29-30 May. Apart from this, there is a forecast of rain and thunderstorms in Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and Vidarbha till 31 May. Odisha may receive very heavy rainfall on May 27 and 29, while Vidarbha and West Bengal are expected to rain on 29-30 May.
In North India, there is a possibility of increasing temperature by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next two days, after which it may fall in 4-5 days. There will be no significant change in temperature for three days in Central India, but there may be an increase of 2-3 degrees. There will be no major change in the weather for the next five days in East India.
