NEET Strategy for Hindi Medium Students

Know some easy and effective tips for Hindi medium students to prepare for NEET-

Understand the NEET UG Syllabus and Pattern

Before preparing for NEET UG 2025, understand its syllabus and exam pattern thoroughly. This makes it easier to prepare for the exam. NEET UG syllabus is based on NCERT 11th and 12th Physics, Chemistry and Biology books. Hindi medium students can download NCERT books from ncert.nic.in. There is a provision of a negative marking of 1 mark for every wrong answer. Therefore caution is necessary.

Focus on NCERT books.

For the Biology section of NEET, read NCERT 11th and 12th books in Hindi. These are the basis of 80-90% of NEET questions. For Physics and Chemistry also, understand every line of NCERT, especially examples and tables.

Hindi study material will be available.

Books: Hindi medium NEET guides (like “NEET Objective Physics in Hindi”) by Arihant or MTG, and “Objective Biology” by Dr. Ali in Hindi.

Online resources: Watch videos on YouTube channels like Vedantu NEET Hindi, Unacademy NEET Hindi, and Khan GS Research Centre (Khan Sir).

Increase focus on physics and chemistry.
Hindi medium students may have difficulty understanding technical terms related to physics and chemistry (such as 'velocity' or 'molar mass'). For them, make notes in simple Hindi language along with NCERT. Practice numerical in physics (HC Verma's 'Concepts of Physics' is available in Hindi). Memorize organic and inorganic reactions and formulas in chemistry.

Make mock tests and previous papers as your guide.

Take mock tests in Hindi (Hindi tests are available on NTA's website neet.nta.nic.in).

Solve the last 5 years' NEET papers (2019-2025) in Hindi. This will help you understand the pattern of questions.

Tip: Take 1-2 NEET mock tests daily and analyze the mistakes.

Learn important English terms.

Some technical terms in NEET are in English only (like “mitochondria” or “enthalpy”). Make small flashcards for these and memorize 10-15 words daily. Compare the terms with NCERT English books.

Good health will increase confidence.

To avoid stress, exercise for 30 minutes daily and sleep for 7-8 hours. Stay positive and revise regularly. Make small goals, like completing 1 chapter every week.
