According to him, diabetes patients can eat three to four medium-sized litchis a day. That too when their blood sugar level is under control.

But at the same time, it contains 15 to 16 grams of natural sugar. The glycemic index of Litchi is also more than 50, which is medium. Eating it in large quantities can increase blood sugar rapidly.
