It is set to be a summer of great change at Stade Rennais. There has already been a change in the hierarchy with Loïc Désiré coming in to replace Frédéric Massara as the club’s sporting director and there will be plenty of changes in the playing staff, too.

Getting players off the books will be a priority for Rennes. The Breton club recruited substantially in the past two transfer windows, however, very few of those signings paid off. Offloading the majority of them is therefore on Désiré’s to-do list. However, he will also be working on incomings.

One of the names on his list is AJ Auxerre’s Gaëtan Perrin (28), according to a report from Ouest-France. The right-winger was exceptional for L’A just last season, scoring 10 goals and registering 11 assists in 35 games in Ligue 1. Having impressed, it is expected that Perrin will leave Auxerre this summer. Rennes would be more than willing to welcome him.
