UP Encounters Under ‘Operation Langda’: The Uttar Pradesh Police have stepped up their efforts to rid the state of criminals. Numerous history-sheeters and wanted offenders in Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Agra, Baghpat, Firozabad, Jalaun, Ballia, Hapur, and Unnao have been apprehended as a result of a number of encounters.

In the previous 24 hours, the UP Police had apprehended more than 14 offenders. The police responded to attacks by firing in the majority of the 11 engagements that took place on Tuesday under the admonitions of ‘Operation Langda’. Lucknow: After an encounter, the accused in a minor girl’s rape case is taken into custody

Accused of raping a young girl, Kamal Kishore, also known as Bhaddar, was hurt during a run-in with the Lucknow police early on Wednesday. He had committed the offense on May 27. He was found in possession of a motorbike, a live cartridge, an empty shell, and a .315 bore handgun. According to ACP Lipi Nagaich, the hunt for other suspects in the case is still continuing on.

Ghaziabad: Vijaynagar Arrests Robbery Accused

Four members of a group that stole oil from parked cars on roads were taken into custody by Simbhaoli police on Tuesday. An altercation at the Sikheda underpass resulted in one person being hurt. He was found to have a weapon, ammunition, oil theft tools, and a Canter automobile. According to CO Garhmukteshwar Varun Mishra, as police attempted to halt the culprits’ car, they opened fire. Gulfam, Samanu, Hashim, and Wasim (injured) are among the defendants. They all live in the Hapur district’s Meerut and Pilkhuwa.

Firozabad: Arrest of Double Murder Accused
Following an altercation, police in the Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh detained Manish and Vipin Yadav on Tuesday. They are sought for a double murder. A reward of Rs 20,000 was offered to the two offenders. They started shooting at the cops when they were requested to halt during a check. Following the altercation, both were hurt and taken into custody. The two defendants were found to have two firearms and ammo. Two days before, they were sought for the murder of a father and son.

Ballia: Separate Encounters Lead to Two Arrests
During separate contacts within an hour on Tuesday night, two offenders were taken into custody in Ballia. The defendant in the Bedua fire case, Ravi Prakash Pandey, was shot in the leg close to Jagannath Tiraha. Following an altercation, police in Maldepur Tiraha detained Mukesh Kumar Singh, who was implicated in the fire case involving businessman Arun Gupta, within two hours. Both fired at the police officers as they attempted to flee during vehicle inspections. Both accused were found in possession of illegal handguns.

Jalaun: Arrest of Jewellery Robbery Accused
Following a run-in with the police, two individuals who were engaged in a jewelry store heist in Jalaun’s Konch were taken into custody. Ramu, the second culprit, turned himself in to the police, while Ajay, also known as Golu Kushwaha, was shot in the leg. The accused was found in possession of two handguns, ammunition, and pilfered money. As of right now, five of the six suspects in the jewelry store heist have been taken into custody.

Unnao: One Arrested Following Contact
Following an altercation on Kedarkheda-Dewara Road on Tuesday evening, Sanjay, also known as Teni, was taken into custody by Unnao police. During a vehicle inspection, the suspect opened fire on the officers. He was sent to the district hospital after being shot in the leg. Sanjay is one of four people charged with assaulting a young person in a recent shooting incident. Locals had already apprehended one suspect. He was found to have two motorcycles and firearms, and the two other defendants in the case, Nahar and Jitendra, are still being sought.

Agra: After shooting at the police, the theft suspect is taken into custody
Following a run-in with the Agra police on Tuesday, Suraj was taken into custody on suspicion of committing many thefts in the Dauki neighborhood of Agra. During interrogation, he confessed to many theft and robbery crimes. Suraj used a concealed weapon to shoot the cops as they were attempting to retrieve stolen items. He is receiving treatment at SN Medical College after being shot in the leg during the altercation. He was found to have a hammer, stolen goods, a firearm, and ammunition.

Baghpat: Forest Area Captures Chain Snatchers
Two chain snatchers were taken into custody by police in the Binauli neighborhood of Baghpat after an altercation in a wooded area. While attempting to escape, one of the accused was apprehended, while the other was shot in the leg. Both are charged in the district with many chain-snatching instances. Their arrest might assist resolve other unresolved cases, according to the police.
