Amazon shoppers are singing praises for a vacuum cleaner that has earned thousands of five-star reviews and is currently on sale. The , has been reduced from £169.99 to £127.99, marking a 25% drop.

This makes the Amazon model almost half the price of (£249.99). Levoit claims its vacuum can eliminate 99.7% of dust from hard floors due to its brushless motor that spins at a whopping 100,000rpm.

The Levoit model also boasts anti-hair wrap technology similar to that found in Shark and Dyson vacuums, featuring an anti-tangle roller designed to prevent hair from tangling during cleaning. This model comes with a 2-in-1 pet tool for removing hair from upholstery, while the dusting brush doubles up as a crevice tool for tackling hard-to-reach areas.

The vacuum can be adjusted to lie 180° flat to clean under furniture, with LED lights in the brush head to highlight hidden dirt. For those with a larger budget, Dyson has slashed £80 off its model, which is said to be the brand's 'most powerful V11'. Now reduced from £429.99 to £349.99, it is designed for homes with pets and comes with four additional attachments.

But the more affordable has emerged as a clear winner amongst Amazon shoppers, boasting an impressive 4.5-star rating and accumulating more than 13,500 reviews, with 11,850 of these being perfect five-star ratings.

One happy customer said: "Excellent for pet hair and getting the job done quick. Easy to use, worth the price and would say better than a Dyson."

Another said: "Looks good and does a fantastic job. It's lighter than my old Vax and I love the way you can remove the roller to clean. I couldn't believe how much it picked up from my living room rug, considering I had vacuumed the day before. Goes flat to go under sofa [and] lights are a bonus."

However, this buyer noted a potential flaw, saying: "Quite heavy for me. The smaller foot attachment is difficult to push on carpet so no good for my stairs."
